Help Me Fund my Service Trip to the DR

I am traveling with a group of fellow students to the rural community of Caimonial, Dominican Republic with Bridges to Community. We will be working on community development projects with a focus on education and youth programming.

I am raising money to cover the cost of my trip fee $1,395 and to contribute to Bridges' vital programming. Anything raised above and beyond the $1,395 will be put toward Bridges' community development work including education, health, housing, and economic development programs.

Bridges to Community's mission is to build a more just and sustainable world through service learning and community development by engaging volunteers to work in developing countries—building community and changing lives. They do so by working closely with community leaders in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic in the areas of housing, education, health, and economic development. Most of Bridges' programs and projects are driven by volunteer participation that incorporates service learning into the volunteers' on-the-ground experience.
